  • Jerald articulates a less recent positive moment from a very pleasant, mindful morning
  • Examples of written positive moments with two parts: 1. describe what happened 2. name feelings
  • Snafu: We haven’t created the online writing space yet. But there is a downloadable journal page below.

Key Takeaway

It’s just about impossible to do Step 1 wrong! Reflect on your recent past and write about a moment that was a bit better than others.

Notes on Practice
This video gives two examples of positive moments. Positive moments are recognized by noticing positive feelings. There are many ways to feel positive. Can you think of a time when you felt peaceful, joyful, loving, empowered, wise, or excited?
Reflection Question
Write about a positive moment. Write about what happened, and find words for the feelings you experienced.
